Gratitude

Why is gratitude so powerful? It has been called the root of joy, after all. Gratitude’s power lies in its ability to shift our focus and energy vibration into one of abundance.

The truth is, we get what we focus on:

  • When we focus on what we lack (when we stress, worry and create scenarios in our heads), we draw in more of these issues and challenges.

  • Conversely, by dwelling on the good that we already have, we send a signal to our mind, body and soul that we want to draw more of these into our experiences.

This is the simple power of gratitude.

Three good things - gratitude hack

One of the easiest techniques that many people utilise is the “three good things” or “three things I’m grateful for” hack.

I’ve termed it a hack because you can do this anywhere, anytime, and it shortcuts you into a great , high vibe energy of gratitude.

A secret way of creating abundance with this technique is to change up the three things, every time you do the practice. This forces you to search a bit deeper and identify gifts and good things that you may have simply missed or taken for granted. It lengthens your gratitude list, so that no matter what’s going on in your life, you realise that there are plenty of amazing things in it to be grateful for. Even if that starts with a sunrise or drop of water on a leaf.
